I am getting ahead of myself with this whole house thing! I just can't stop myself. I am obsessed with decorating our future house. I spotted this sideboard/buffet a few weeks ago and I knew it would make a great tv stand. We already decide that we were going to get rid of our current tv armoir when we move, so I was on the lookout for a nice, sleek one. We are buying a HDTV Plasma after we get a house, so I wanted something that would match the sleekness of the flat screen. This was everything I wanted. Sleek, Espresso. Yummy.

On Monday I went to the same store and there it was ON SALE!! ACK! And only one left. Of course I was driving my dad's car and there was NO WAY it was fitting inside. Bummer!!

So we left. Last night we called the store and they hadn't sold it yet, so we put it on hold, hopped in the Escape and went to pick it up. I love it when things work out!

Jamie did not want to put it together until we move..........but he worked late tonight so I spent 3 hours putting it together!! HAHA!!

Why you may ask?? Exactly, we're not even going to use it!! But, I still wanted to see what it looked like. We don't have a kitchen table right now, so it now lives in the kitchen.

I can't wait to put this puppy on top of it!!

I made this little mini book not long after our honeymoon and it was picked up for publication right away!
It is featured in an Idea Book by Scrapbook Trends called "Journaling Your Stories".
My designers copy (along with a box of goodies) was delivered on Monday.
I'm very excited!!

You will not believe how I needed a new purse.
I rarely spend over 20$ on one, but this one caught my eye and I just couldn't say no.

I scrapbooked and I am no longer a Godin.

Finally! I scrapbooked!! It has been what? A few months? Maybe longer! Either way, last night I dug out my supplies and scrapbooked the first (of many) of our wedding photos.

I am *in love* with this page.

In other news..........

It's been a good run being a GODIN, 26 years and it has treated me well.

But, today, after months of being too lazy, I finally headed down to the DMV and changed my maiden name to my married name.

Just looking at my blog and how I haven't posted since our six month anniversary....and I realized that I didn't tell you about my little treat I got that day.

When I got home from work Jamie had three surprises for me! I love surprises!

First, was the book I have been wanting (Shopaholic & Baby)!! Great book by the way! I am already reading it for the second time.

Second, was a card. This thrilled me because Jamie doesn't usually get cards unless I hound him for awhile. He did this totally on his own, I was so happy!!

And last, he got me my favorite cake: Chocolate Brownie Eruption!!

3 very nice surprises.

I married the best man! Not a day goes by where I don't get showered with hugs, kisses, and tons of attention.
