o stomach, I barely knew thee.....

15 months and 20 pounds later I will spare you the 'now' picture!!

It's back on the healthy kick again! For me and Jamie. I did it before (the pic in August was after I lost 15 pounds I think), so I know I can do it again, I just have to get my butt in gear.

There are a couple of reasons why we are doing the healthy thing:

1. We have been eating take out and junk food for a good four months. House stress and not being home that often to cook healthy meals has led to bad eating habits for both of us.

2. Who can't stand to lose a few pounds?? Okay, Jamie doesn't really need to lose weight. But I have a closet full of clothes that I'd like to wear again sometime soon!

3. It's almost baby making time people!! NO...we are not trying YET...but probably after Christmas. So, I definitely want to get healthy for that. Plus, I will want to eat healthy while we are pregnant, so why not start now. **fingers crossed we don't have too much trouble getting pregnant!!** Also, if I'm going to put on weight later, I'd rather lose some now.

4. Jamie has heart disease running rampant in his family (dad, mom, & sis have all had heart troubles). Going to try my best to get him eating better and stuff like that.

We 'officially' started yesterday. I have made up a seven day meal plan menu to try and keep us on track as much as possible. There is no junk food in the house, and hopefully we can stay away from takeout!!!

i thought for sure this was going to be an i'm pregnant post when i saw your title and belly pic!! not to be confused with me thinking you look pregnant or anything, but i thought you were saying farewell to your flat stomach because you were going to say you were pregnant!

Good for you guys!! Keep me posted, I am doing the same...I need to be able to try ANY dress I want to on...! lol Good luck...! You can do it...

Baby makin - of the fun!!! Be sure to start prentals in the next bit, they recommend starting before you get pregnant. When you do get pregnant, a site I recommend is www.whattoexpect.com (the book isn't good but the site it). They send you emails each day and even one a week for Dad! Plus you can go on the message board corresponding with the month your due, so you can chat and read about other people going through the same things you are. It's great! A great book is Your Pregnancy A Week by Week Guide http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/books/Your-Pregnancy-Week-By-Week-Glade-B-Curtis-Judith-Schuler/9781555613464-item.html?ref=Search+Books%3a+%2527pregnancy%2527 It looks older, but it's amazing. Another friend got it before I even recommended it. And I got it from a friend who recommended it to me.

Anyway, best of luck with the weight loss and baby making. Keep us posted!! Don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away. It will!!
