 this outfit is awesome:

the end of my awesomeness.

kidding.

my pant-less baby is also awesome.  except when he is cranky and crying (awkward)

-also awesome....

-i ordered an ipad! YAY!!! episodes of mad men are about to get that much more AWESOME.

-the fact that my nails are growing (albeit slowly)

-a potential getaway next weekend with the friday hubby (for two whole nights)

-the fact that tomorrow is

-clearly i need more awesome in my life

 awkward:

-the snowstorm we had yesterday

-the fact that my tooth i had straightened out with braces now all of a sudden appears worse than before (sad face)

-the crying FIT avery had when leaving day care today

-and the fact that he can now reach the 'junk' drawer and i just caught him sucking on a battery

-the fact that it's the end of april and i have a fire roaring
-the fact that i just watched wizards of waverly place

-and i was too lazy after work to get an outfit shot, so you'll have to settle for some pj's (and an unmade bed)

 dress, shoes, belt: ruche

 on the list for awkward this week:

-anytime avery screamed (terrible 2's minus 4 months?)

-the snow storm we got yesterday...hello it's april!

-pulling into a gas station only to find the pumps covered in garbage bags..what?

-jumping on the highway to get to another gas station and realizing i forgot about one that was much closer....u turn on the highway!!

-getting ripped off at foot locker last week....GRRRRRR

-still not knowing if i'll get my money back from foot locker...double GRRRR

and on the awesome side of things:

-a semi-four day weekend (minus a few hours running into work tomorrow)

-two date nights with jamie this weekend!!

-the fact that i will be stuffing my face, tomorrow night at this time, with dill pickle popcorn from the movie theatre

-running four nights in a row this week!

-only spending 20$ in gas so far...driving our little car is so much better cheaper

-the fact that while i'm sitting down writing this right now, avery is quietly eating in his high chair...score one for mama!!

have i mentioned that i hate that i can't get decent outfit pictures?

will someone please come and train jamie to be a semi-decent photographer?

or at least remind me that i own a tripod????

it's awkward...it's awesome...it's thursday!!

awkward:

-getting a nice big splotch of vanilla yogurt on my skirt, 'nuff said

-having my tights press against my belly button ring all day long...ow!

-having to implement a new food safety program at work...not so much awkward as it is painful

-putting a hole in the toe of my tights right as i was leaving for work, not having time to change and having my toe stick out of my tights all day at work (thank goodness for booties!)

awesome:

-jamie being the 'big spoon' and falling asleep on my side of the bed while we share a pillow

-avery being such a big boy lately with all of his walking, climbing and coloring

-visit from j-bean my former office mate at work today!!

-caramel mocha's

-jamie rattling off his list of monday chores that he completed and his 'you should be proud of me' smile

-finally getting my ruche order (even though it has only been like 9 days since it shipped)

awkward and awesome thursday!!

it's that time again! and i'm finally blogging about it.
i've been leaving myself little a&a notes the past few weeks, but keep forgetting to do an official blog.

so here it is folks....

awkward:
hitting my finger, hip, elbow on every sharp/hard surface possible this past week...clumisness is at an optimum level
avery's mullet hair (that i can't bear to cut...how long until someone asks me 'how old is she?')
trying to convince my boss that i AM in a good mood (when i'm really not)
trying on skirts in the dressing room today and having avery push the door open...niceeeee

awesome:
new blingy nails! (almost the same as long time, but darker)
having the hubs off work all week (i could really get used to a house husband)
iPad2...the fund has begun
my rad kid: period, end of subject
