*doubt*

I was so annoyed by my crappy talents as a scrapbooker that I decided to make a page about it.

Journaling reads: feeling uncreative. feeling like I have no talent. doubting what I know I am capable of.

Crank box...

I hate being cranky.
I hate wanted to scrap, but hating my supplies, and all my pictures.
Then shooting myself down.
I hate that I went 4.6 miles on my elliptical, then being angry because I wanted some chocolate, but I just burned all of those calories so why eat more...
grumble, grumble
I am so cranky.

I just spent a butt load of money on good groceries today! Lots of yummy veggies, fruit, chicken & salad. I was kinda bummed that they did not have any WW bread though, I like that stuff.

I have also exercised four times this week (yay) actually five if I count the pilates I did on Monday too.

I wanted to celebrate by eating McDonalds, but apparently that is not a good idea. ;)

Today is the Daytona 500!!

We're having a little Daytona 500 get together.

Mark, Jessica, Jana, Rod & Lindsey will be coming over for a feast!!

I can't wait to dig into some yummy food.

And Dale, jr. please don't wreck out!!

I got that song in my head this morning, err, afternoon.

I had this great idea to tidy up today. Started in the bedroom, then the living room, bathroom.

Now, the dreaded computer/scrapbook room, which has now turned into cleaning out the closet too.

I won't even take a picture to show you the disaster I have created in here today.

thanks to itunes for keeping me company as I bury myself in empty pizza boxes and layouts that need a home.

Well, I made it through one whole week of dieting!! YAY!!!

As of Thursday I was down 3 pounds. Woo!!

Sorry So Slow...

I have four packages to mail away...
--two rak's
--clock for Sam
--baby package for Jaime

So if you are waiting...they will be coming!!! I'm just a little slow.

I know I was at the post office yesterday (by the way that package waiting for me was my scrapbook page that I mailed off to Cantata Books, can't wait to see it in print). I am yet to find a box for Sam's clock, hopefully I can get one at work today. Then get everything mailed off.

Sometimes I am just so slow.

Brokeback Mountain

I saw it tonight.

It was so tragic and haunting, my heart hurt afterwards.

I am not surprised that it got all of those Oscar Nom's.

Great movie.

Mystery Package...

I got a slip in the mail today saying I have a package at the post office.

I'm not expecting anything so right now it is a mystery!!

I hope it is something good!

It's been awhile since I posted, sorry!! What is up with you??

here is a little list of what has been going on in my life lately...

--eating good & exercising! Can I keep myself on the wagon?? I guess I sorta have too if I want to fit into my wedding dress.

--went to Brandon's first birthday party yesterday! Sadly no pics since the party was at the local pool & my lense kept steaming up because it was so hot in there!!

--still on the bridesmaid dress search, gotta get hardcore soon. My girls needs some dresses!

--got some decorations yesterday for the ceremony. I know I hired a wedding planner that is suppose to supply all this stuff, but I couldn't resist this. I saw the idea on the net and happened to find almost the exact same thing for $1 each. Maybe my wedding planner will just buy it off of me later, who knows.

--my dress might be in next month! Woo!

--the creative dice today say 'walk dangerously', that doesn't sound like a good idea. I may hurt myself. ;)

--I thought I would be cool like Nadine & start a daily life album, but I forgot about the last two days. Ooops!

--My 3 year old cousin Lucas is a hoot!

--Jana came to visit the other day with a bunch of stuff in her 'maid of honor wedding binder', that girl has more stuff & organization in there that I have in mine. I think she should be on the payroll or something.

--bought a little something for Jaime's baby Noah yesterday (she is due soon). Jamie actually looked at it and touched it without cringing!! Woo!! Progress on the baby front. I can actually say the word baby now without him jumping off a bridge.

--Last night I went to bed before 1 am. Sleep progress with the help of OCT generic sleeping pills from Walmart.

--LOTS of scrappin' to do.

--Did I mention the actual date of my wedding?? It's September 2nd. Labor day weekend!! Woo!! The other wedding that day has been cancelled so our ceremony will be at 2pm now.

--On Wednesday we will only be 200 dollars short of having 2k put away for wedding expenses. As in 'we' means Jamie because I did not contribute. I'm making & paying for the wedding invites okay?? LOL!! We are paying for the photographer, our wedding rings, presents for the wedding party. And a few other misc. items.

--I think I am all listed out for today. Time to get back to laundry.

--Oh! Might be going to see brokeback mountain tuesday. Can't wait.

Wedding Album...

After much fighting over adhesive yesterday I finally got this album finished.

I made the whole thing from scratch...chipboard covers, accordian spine...Kept it all pretty simple so they can add their own wedding photos.

It's always risky making an album for people you don't know, but I think it turned out pretty good!!

You know if you have some pictures lying around or you just want an album and you have some extra money...email me! hint hint! LOL!
