Back to work today and I'm working until 10pm tuesday-saturday. Gross huh? So I took advantage of the past two nights free and went to the beach to catch the sunset!

Chocolate!!

I hate taking self-portraits! I never have enough light for my 18-55mm lens and my 50mm is not wide enough, so it is always a battle.

But, you get the idea, my hair is chocolate brown once again!

Trying to get a picture of Jamie. He never lets me turn the camera on him at all. Last night he was feeling nice so let me snap some shots, as you can see he got annoyed of me FAST.

New goods...

Got a few new goodies to talk about...the first being my brand new dress! I got it to wear the night before our wedding for our rehersal dinner or the day after the wedding for our little gift opening party, I haven't made up my mind yet. The colors are a little off in the photos, because the only place I could get a decent pic was in the hallway, where there is no light, but you get the idea. It's more like the blue in the first picture. It looks so good on, I need a little help in the boob department, but I just love it. I like the detailing in the back too. ***Jana, I need you to see this one me because I want to know if I should get it shortened or not.*** It falls below the knee and I'm not sure if I like that or not.












Here are some other goodies we got....a water cooler!! Woo! Our water now tastes and smells like gasoline, and living 10ft from a gas station has us really questioning the quality of our water. So in comes the water cooler. Sweet. It's butt ugly, but yummy cold water all the time, me likes.






























And finally my new chapeau! I've been wanting a hat, a white one actually. But haven't found one that I liked. Found this teal fox hat today. Jamie got a cool black fox one with pin stripes. Now all I need is a racing bike! LOL! Right!

Obsessive in Mom's Garden....

Mom planted tulips last year, and they are finally in bloom! Loving that...definitely my favorite flowers in the garden right now. Went a little picture crazy over the pink ones. The apple tree is coming along too, can't wait for it to blossom.

I don't have much to blog about, haven't been doing much lately.

Watching some movies...

-Went to see the Da Vinci Code on Sunday (AWESOME MOVIE!), went to the early show, so I got home just in time to catch the season finale of Desperate Housewives at 10! Very cool.

-Monday night we watched Big Momma's House 2. I had already seen it at the Movie's, but Jamie and Rodney hadn't, so we rented it on Monday. So funny.

-Another movie last night! Lindz & Rodney came over with The Ringer, LMAO that one was funny!

So that is about all I have been up too, nothing exciting in the works.

I need a hair cut big time, but I'm not sure what to do about that. I hate to trim it b/c it always ends up shorter than I would like.

I'm annoyed that I still haven't heard back from my wedding planner, how hard is it to keep in contact?! Seriously! Ugh!

This no sun thing is really depressing!

I can't believe it!

I broke the barrier.

I'm went from 140lbs to 129lbs.

I'm FINALLY out of the 130's!!!! I can't even remember the last time I was in the 120's, I think it was way back at the first of my 3rd year of university.

Crazy.

I'm so excited!!

Look what Jana got & other ramblings....

A Nikon D50!!! YAY!! Her first digital and a SLR digital at that. Go Jana!! We are camera twins, lmao, well almost. Now we can drag each other around taking pics. I missed out on a lot of good photo ops last year because I was just too lazy to drag my butt around, but I know Jana won't let me do that this summer! Which is good, because I am always complaining that I don't have enough pictures.

Went to Bathurst yesterday to get some cardstock for my wedding invitations. I also picked up a new paper trimmer, it rocks! It's a guillotine laser trimmer by Xacto, it's so hardcore, I love it!

Wedding invitations have officially begun production!! I was hunched over for two hours last night trimming paper. And I barely made a dent, lol.

That is it for now!

Don't tell me that my wedding dress is the last thing I should worry about!!!

Seriously lady!! Have you never met a bride before!?!?!

I didn't order my dress a year ahead of time so I could make monthly installments (as you snidly suggested!!).

I ordered it because it's a huge part of my wedding day and I couldn't wait to find 'my dress'.

Don't tell me that I won't need any alterations when you have never met me, or sold me my dress, or had any idea what I wanted done to the dress after it arrived.

And don't rudely push aside the fact that I will need alterations when you are told that I do. Don't tell me it will take seven minutes to remove roses off of a dress that is taking a entire company longer to make than it would have to me to have a CHILD!

And please, for the love of all that is holy, don't call back the day after you tell me it is only going to come in in June that you were mistaken and it is only going to come in in JULY.

Oh, how I wish you wouldn't not have said those things.

10 months my ASS!!!

stupid wedding dress makers!!!!

I thought I was a fool for ordering my dress a year in advance! Well, I guess I made the right decision considering it is taking FOREVER and a dang day to get my wedding dress.

They told me it was being made in China, fine so is everything else. Then they said it would be six to eight months. Fine. Who cares!

Well last week it was eight months since I placed the order. No word on the dress. Mom calls today to find out some info.

They say, we'll call you back, that is not good news. Good news is hearing it's in the stock room, they just forgot to call.

Yea, so they call back and say it'll be in by the end of JUNE!

I don't freaking think so!!!

Who wants to wait 10 months for a dress??!?!?! What if I wasn't anal and didn't order my dress a year in advance?? I'd be so far up crap creek and my paddle is in gosh darn CHINA!!

Piss off. I want my dress. And if it comes in in any other color besides white god help them. And those ROSES better be removeable.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

One whole day devoted to scrapbooking! Or as Jamie would say....just like everyday...

In celebration I got some tulips!! Okay, okay, I had to buy them for myself, but still. Aren't they pretty?

I've been wanting to have some fresh flowers for quite some time now.

Judging by my drinking glass vase you can probably tell I NEVER have fresh flowers...but finally I do!

Yesterday was pretty productive on the wedding front. My entire wedding to do list is crossed off!!

I went to the reception site to hammer out some details, get the menu & price list, set aside a block of rooms, and also reserved some rooms for the night before and night of the wedding.

I also got some bridesmaids dress fabric. Shipping that out to the girls this coming week.

Finally found some ribbon for my wedding invitations!! GO ME!! They didn't have enough, so they ordered me a roll. Score!!

I love scratching things off of my to do list!

P.S. To those renting a room the night of the wedding. I put away a block of rooms, but they will only hold them until August. If you call to book a room make sure you say it is for the Godin/Audit wedding so that we are all together.

Met with my wedding planner tonight. He is taking care of the wedding decorations, flowers, and cake.

Let me tell ya---I really wasn't prepared!! It got a little stressful!!

But in a weird way I am at ease! Even after the stress. Knowing that things are starting to fall into place.
